At HanesBrands, social responsibility actions are aligned with the company’s global guidelines and principles and are included in the sustainability dimension of our businesses.
Our corporate values express the company commitment with people, the environment, the client and the consumer, as well as the community where we are established.

This is a work that dignifies our company, as its certification defines by itself that we are a socially responsible company. At HanesBrands Brazil, programs directed to the community are:

Good Neighbor Program:
The goal of this program is to integrate the company with the community in order to allow people 60 years old and above who live in the region a chance to improve their life quality.

We have activities that encourage people to pursue their physical and emotional wellbeing and self-esteem.
A number of activities era included in this program, including: Physical Exercises, Choir, Artifacts, Sports, Esthetics, Nutritionist, Water Aerobics (Mackenzie), Cultural Hikes, Psychologist and Medical Follow-Up. For these activities to happen, we count on the voluntary help of employees and partner companies such as Sistema Total de Saúde, CCR, Sodexho, Osastur, Andréa Ananiades and Violante Piccini.




Substance Dependent Recovery Program – “Fênix Project”:
This is still another in-house HanesBrands Brazil action that aims at contributing towards the recovery of substance dependents who work at our company, as well as preventing this evil that permeates society.

As a socially responsible company, HanesBrands has as a global actuation standard to foster the wellbeing of their employees. Supplying an agreeable, ethical work environment favorable to the personal and professional development of our employees is, indeed, one of our operating principles. HanesBrands believes that the respect and support to employees is an important basis for the development of the company as a whole.

Olé Project:
A partnership with the Cotia Lyons Club that develops works with underprivileged children by offering Karate classes in order to take the children out of the streets, prevent crimes and insert them in society as true citizens. The project offers about 12 professional courses to the community and graduates some 150 students by quarter.
